SC HOSA chapters recognized their most outstanding members at the opening session of the 2009 state leadership conference SC HOSA presented a total of $11,700 in scholarship awards to nineteen deserving members
   
The ADANDE African Dance Company, an authentic group of drummers and dancers entertained the crowd at the opening session by combining beat and magic of African chant and drum with a high level of energy and rhythm. HOSA members anxiously await the announcement of the 2009 competitive events program finalists Over 900 HOSA members, advisors, parents, guests and partners attended the opening session and banquet at the state leadership conference
   
The HOSA Bowl competitive event created a quiz bowl atmosphere and lots of excitement for the final teams HOSA members prepared throughout the school year for their competitive events
