ILC Conference deadlines & reminders
DEADLINES
May 15
DEADLINE for:
- Registration (Any registration still in the system at 11:59 PM will be responsible for the $125 registration fee. No refunds.)
- Registration PAYMENTS
- IEP Forms and Special Accommodation Uploads
- DIGITAL UPLOADS, no exceptions! READ YOUR GUIDELINES! All uploads from SLC, MUST be re-uploaded for ILC.
- Hotel Reservations
- Submissions to SC HOSA- Electronic Signatures will NOT be accepted (PDF format only).
- CHAPERONE FORM– If an advisor from your current HOSA chapter is unable to accompany their chapter’s students, a chaperone form must be filled out (all required signatures must be included; electronic signatures will NOT be accepted). If only a parent is attending with the student, they must also complete the form with all necessary signatures. Additionally, the parent must be registered for the conference.
June 11
Competitor Appointment times posted online for selected events, check your guidelines.
June 16
Substitutions must be submitted by 6 PM, $25 admin fee will be accessed.
All substitutions and deletions should be emailed to: Angel Clark and Amanda Wilson.
June 18
All deletions, no fee will be assessed for the deletions, however, the $125 registration will still apply.
UPDATES
~5/29 – There will be two different types of buses during the conference.
1 – Shuttle bus for EVERYONE: Transporting anyone from the HOSA hotels to the Gaylord Hotel.
2 – COMPETITORS ONLY bus: Only competitors’ may ride this bus, transporting competitors from the Gaylord Hotel to their off-site event.
REMINDERS
~All registration payments should be made payable to SC HOSA and mailed to SC HOSA, PO Box 866, Lexington, SC 29071. Do NOT mail your check to National HOSA (at the TX address).
~SC HOSA has been assigned the first opening session, 5:00 – 6:30 PM, on June 18th. More details and seat assignments will be given out at SC HOSA’s registration table at ILC.
~All SC HOSA delegates MUST be in a HOSA-approved hotel to be eligible for any competitions.
~Make sure to register your students in any Recognition Events.
~A team event must include at least 25% of the original team from SLC.
~READ the dress code, The dress code is strictly enforced at ILC
~SC HOSA registration at ILC will be Wednesday, June 18th, from 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Location is TBD
~For ALL up to date South Carolina specific information, refer to SC HOSA’s ILC page.
~ If a student or students are attending ILC without a HOSA advisor or school representative, it is necessary to fill out a Chaperone Form. This requirement applies even if a parent is accompanying them. Once completed with all required signatures, the form shold be emailed to Amanda Wilson, no later than May 15th.
