Presenter: Dr. Jane Kelly, Assistant State Epidemiologist for SC DHEC
Dr. Kelly’s Bio: Dr. Kelly has a broad background in clinical medicine and public health diverse settings. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. After 13 years as a physician with Indian Health Service in Alaska and Arizona, she trained in the CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service, then served in leadership positions in chronic disease and in HIV epidemiology at CDC and the Georgia Department of Public Health. Currently, Dr. Kelly collaborates with Emory University on infectious disease modeling and serves as the SC Department of Public Health and Environmental Control Assistant State Epidemiologist.
