SC HOSA and the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation Virtual 5K Race…
Why should you register for this race? The Virtual 5K is helping SC HOSA raise funds and awareness for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. All proceeds from generous registrants, like you, go directly to the NPCF to find a cure for childhood cancer! Share your Virtual 5K experience on social media or with friends and family to help increase awareness of childhood cancer.
What is a Virtual 5K? A Virtual 5K is a race that can be completed from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track, or at your house (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Run on your own, or with friends!
How much does it cost? Registration is $20. If you would like, you may make your donation more impactful by adding to it at the end of your registration form.
When and where is the race? Complete your race on your own time before March 15, 2020. You choose the location and time.
What do you get for registering? Each registrant will receive a medal, wristband, and racing bib shipped directly to them.
Share your Virtual 5K experience on social media with the hashtag #SCHOSAV5K and you will be entered into a gift card drawing (5 gift card winners will be selected). The post on social media must be made before March 15, 2020. One entry per person. The winners will be announced at the SC HOSA State Leadership Conference March 22 – 24, 2020 and posted on the SC HOSA website. You do not have to be present to win. If you are not present at the drawing, the gift card will be mailed to the mailing address provided on the registration form.
Let’s rise up so kids with cancer can grow up! Thank you for your support!
