What is a Partnership?

Opportunities exist for health-related organizations and those who support educational programs to become involved with HOSA. HOSA's interests lie in working collaboratively with the healthcare community and stakeholders.

Why Does HOSA Need Partnerships?

HOSA is committed to preparing future healthcare professionals. Our members will someday be your members, employees, or customers. In order to provide the right opportunities for HOSA members, we need to form collaborative partnerships with the healthcare community.

Announcing HOSA's newest Partnership: Medical Reserve Corps

Medical Reserve Corps Overview

The SC Medical Reserve Corp (MRC) units are very interested in working with our HOSA members and health science students. Visit the link to download the Parental Consent for the Participation of a Minor in the Statewide Emergency Registry of Volunteers with the SC Medical Reserve Corps

National HOSA had the opportunity to meet with Rear Admiral Steven Galson, Acting Surgeon General, and Robert C. Williams, Deputy Surgeon General, at a meeting arranged by CAPT Robert Tosatto, Director of the Medical Reserve Corps. The Surgeon General gave HOSA over an hour of his time to learn about HOSA and our partnership with the Medical Reserve Corp. Dr. Galson's closing remarks were that he was pleased with the partnership and looked forward to many other opportunities for us to work together! It indeed was a great day for HOSA.

HOSA recently received a brochure and Student MRC Volunteer Handbook that was developed by the Pima County Health Department in Tucson, Arizona. The brochure and handbook are below.
