General Sessions/Banquet & Awards Ceremony Information

General Session & Banquet:

  • The banquet will begin at 6:30 PM, Thursday, March 8th.
  • All banquet seating will be assigned seating.
  • One banquet admission is included with each paid registration fee.
  • Attire for the banquet is HOSA uniform or black or navy suit with white shirt. Navy or black closed toe shoes.
  • Students not dressed properly will be turned away and not allowed on stage for any awards they may receive.  Advisors should dress professionally.


Awards Ceremony:

  • Awards ceremony will be Friday, March 9th, at 2:30 PM
  • Invite family, friends, and other interested individuals to show support for your SC HOSA students.
  • There is no charge to attend the awards ceremony.
  • HOSA members are required to wear conference polo shirts and black, blue or khaki slacks (no jeans, no denim, no shorts and no capris), with comfortable closed toed shoes or sandals (no flip flops), to the awards ceremony.

2021 SC HOSA Scholarship Application

Before proceeding with the SC HOSA Scholarship Application, you MUST read all directions and guidelines for the application.

Failure to do so may result in points deducted from your final score.

Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered.

If a member of your chapter is entering competition in the Barbara James Service Award or the Outstanding HOSA Member, register the student for the event in order for it to be picked up in the registration system’s reports. In some cases – HOSA Happenings, HOSA Chapter Reflection, National Service Project (NAMI- National Alliance on Mental Illness) – the entire chapter may have participated in the project. In these cases, select one student in your chapter and register him or her in the appropriate category so the registration system will automatically generate your chapter in the report.

(IMPORTANT –you must check the National Service Project Box, BJ Box, or MRC Volunteer Box by February 10, 2018 you must register to be considered eligible to compete. You may continue to enter any approve hours, and money until March 1st. All monies entered after that cannot be guaranteed to be included in the conference totals)

In addition to entering a student in the National Service Project category in the online registration system, A copy of your receipt or a copy of your check (or P.O. for check request) must be submitted by email no later than March 1, 2018 to ANGEL CLARK at
